Meet Dr. Martin Walsh
Board Certified Oral Surgeon Serving The Quad Cities
Dr. Walsh grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. He attended Marquette University on a Pre-Dental Scholars scholarship where he graduated with honors and was admitted to Marquette University School of Dentistry after three years of undergraduate studies. During dental school he was inducted to Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was awarded the Oral Surgery Award for his graduating class.
He Completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training while serving in the Air Force at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB in Fairfield, CA. After residency he was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha where he practice oral and maxillofacial surgery treating active duty and retired veterans He served as an assistant professor of the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School, and as a faculty member of the AEGD Program at Offutt Air Force Base where he oversaw sedation training, emergency management training and supervised patient care. He was honorably discharged as a Major after his service commitment ended.
Dr. Walsh is BLS, PALS, and ACLS certified. He is a member of the ADA, AAOMS and is Board Certifies by the ABOMS. He and his wife Kaitlin have three children, Henry, Rosemary and Thomas. He enjoys woodworking and traveling.
