Meet Dr. Jeffrey Link
Board Certified Oral Surgeon Serving The Quad Cities
Dr. Jeffrey Link graduated from Miami University-Ohio and The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a general dentist prior to his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the Medical College of Virginia from 1987 to 1991. He went on to be the chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. In 1994 he entered private practice in Michigan. While there, Dr. Link taught at the Sinai Hospital of Detroit Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
Jeff and his family relocated to Iowa from Traverse City, Michigan, where he maintained a private practice for eighteen years.
Dr. Link is a past president of the Resort District Dental Society in Traverse City, Michigan. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Linn County Dental Society. Jeff is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1995 and has been re-certified in 2005 and 2015.
Dr. Link has published and lectured to several professional groups locally and internationally. He maintains a license to practice Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Nicaragua where he travels several times a year, often with his family, to provide care to numerous patients in hospitals, his dental clinic he established in Managua, as well as remote community outreach clinics. He has worked with Operation Smile for nearly ten years.
Jeff and his wife Kristi have three children and three grandchildren. They enjoy hiking traveling, and spending time at the lake in Northern Michigan.
